Timbre – Pizza

Every Wednesday night, EIC (a popular local cover band) performs at Timbre. Listening to them with a nice cold beer is already a fantastic experience. But add on Timbre’s specialty food - their thin-crust pizza and you are having a thoroughly enjoyable Wednesday evening.

The place is outdoors so no use going there if it rains, and is situated in a very ooloo part of Coleman street so also no use going if you don’t drive. The surrounding trees, wooden tables and soft lighting may give you the feeling of being in a little native restaurant in some jungle island. And just like a jungle, it may get a little stuffy if the wind ain’t blowing nicely.

The pizza comes on this big wooden square of a plate and they have about 10 different toppings. You can also combine 2 half pizzas with different toppings for the price of 1, which I presume is what most people do as most of the toppings are great. Cost is about $16 for a pizza which can comfortably feed 2.

Overall, but largely dependant on the weather, a great place to go if you drive and have a 11pm craving for pizza and live music.
